Toilet cleanness is average. I do like the inside dec design of the store. Feels a little bit like museum. I guess can put more cool vintage stuff? Boba is alright. Not a big fan of the milk tea, but if you like the chewy Boba, this is the place you should try out; they have many kinds of boba. Toilet: 3/5 passcode is the name of old popular men singer celebrity Drink: 3/5 I got 50% still little bit too sweet Staff 4/5

Tasty teas and good prices (average for the area 7-8$). They have a wide selection and you order at the kiosks. The drinks come quick.

Great location on University and so many options. I got the Panda (crystal ball and brown sugar boba) and substituted with oat milk. Drink came out fast and was delicious! Only thing I wasn't a fan of was having to order at a kiosk, but that's the way things are in Palo Alto.

Absolutely loooooove Mr Sun's homemade boba. I loved it so much, I looked into how to make my own and get my own boba machine. But that's too much work so I'll just go to Mr sun and get their boba. I wish there was a closer location to me.... I always get their osmanthus tea with rainbow boba (since I can't decided). But this time, I saw their weekend special boba was black sesame so only got that flavor. It was really good!!

Love this place!!!!!!! They worked overtime for us today lol and we are so appreciative. Order hundredsssssss to cater for Lunar New Year celebration and they did three shifts of drop offs! Drinks were so good! Everyone loved it! Milk tea was a big hit, along with their mango & passion fruit tea. This place makes their boba in house with different flavors!!!! Highly recommend!

First time visiting the Palo Alto location of MST, and drinks are just as consistent and yummy. I ordered the Three Brothers (regular milk tea with boba, pudding, and grass jelly) at 25% sugar with zero ice, but they still topped off the drink for me! I love how fresh and chewy the handmade tapioca pearls are Tip: order from in store kiosk or Snackpass app since it's almost $1 cheaper than storefront / DoorDash

Great boba option near Stanford campus for your afternoon pick-me-up! I had a friend recommend this place to me and we went together. I got a Alishan oolong tea with boba (no milk). Being Taiwanese, the tea quality was pretty good for the price! The boba are clear so they're not your usual tapioca starch version (I think). At least, they don't have the roasted brown sugar taste. I got 25% sugar which was perfect for me. All ordering is on a tablet kiosk. When I went on a Saturday afternoon there was one party ahead of us but we didn't wait much time at all. Drinks came out quickly too. There are about 5-6 tables inside of varying sizes, but the drinks are easily portable to a nearby park. Great, affordable option for boba!

I tried Mr. Sun on a whim and it became my favorite boba spot in the peninsula. Now I'm addicted to it and my family always jokes that I'm going to pick up Mr. Sun whenever I'm in the area. Their fresh handmade boba is soft, chewy, and satisfying. They're very generous with the toppings so I always feel like I have enough boba. My go-to boba flavor is Strawberry. The staff is very friendly. The space has high ceilings and a good amount of seating. It's a busy shop but I usually don't have too much trouble finding street parking. Order through Snackpass and you can save up for rewards.

I am eating this based on a Too Good To Go order. I do think I should go back again to try other drinks and add updated rating. STARS -Quality tea drinks -Clean bathrooms -Asked if I needed bag since they were low on bags but willing to give it -Convenient location STAIRS -Service staff could be friendlier but it was almost closing time on a Friday night -Would be awesome if bathrooms had changing tables to make more family friendly -Should offer compostable straws and encourage customers to bring their own reusable cup and straw (this applies to most boba shops) TIPS -Street parking and garage parking available for free -Bring your own reusable straw and bag

My go-to orders here are the Mr. Sun Mango with Mango Boba or Mr. Sun Special with Strawberry Boba Mr. Sun is one of my favorite boba chains in the bay area and what really makes them stand out is their hand made honey, strawberry, and mango pearls. Depending on what time you drop by you may be able to see them making it fresh. - The Mr. Sun Mango is on the sweeter side and the sweetness can not be changed but I personally enjoy the sweetness as-is - The Mr. Sun Special tastes like strawberry ice cream, is less sweet than the Mr. Sun Mango, and I'm a big fan
